Biomass Boilers?
So what is Biomass? What is a Biomass Boiler?

Biomass is recently living material, used commonly as a fuel source for biomass heating e.g. wood in the form of logs, wood chips or wood pellets, but materials like straw and cotton waste can also be made into pellets. Basically biomass has taken carbon from the atmosphere when it grew, and releases it when it is burned. Using locally sourced biomass is also important to keep this a low carbon way to heat your home overall. A biomass boiler can provide central heating and hot water for your home or commercial property, in place of a gas or other boiler. The efficiency of these types of boiler is comparable to fossil fuel boilers. However please bear in mind that you will need a place to recieve and store the biomass of your choice. This is often a big challenge for those used to gas boiler systems.
